What goes into the slab

Good concrete starts with a properly prepared base. On our projects, the base is checked against our own guidelines for material and compaction before anything is poured — that applies to footings, formed walls, and every slab. Proper rebar and welded wire, placed to meet the design criteria, is non-negotiable for footings, walls, and slabs alike. Adequate thickness ensures the finished product actually meets what the customer needs, and the right mix, expansion joints, sealing, and curing are what make the concrete durable as well as clean-looking, not just one or the other.
